Awagha was among the key teams that were supporting community quality improvement in addressing barriers that limit increased demand and uptake of quality services in the district. The meeting, however, called other members from Amref, Heroes, VHTs, members of health management, and health facility managers in the subcounty. A community quality improvement team(CQIT) was formed to ensure the sustainability of the program and to address all identified gaps are addressed. AWAGHA was assigned to take the lead in this kind of activity to work closely with the subcounty CDO, health assistants, in the in-charge facility, and local members. The meeting resolved that documented dialogues in the community, Health communication for Health Promotion, need to be emphasized, including monthly meetings and reporting to ensure strategic planning is done and is of critical focus.
